Any Foxtel gurus floating around?

The missus accepted an upgrade deal on Foxtel from IQ to IQ2. She didn't realise all her recorded shows on the IQ would not transfer to the IQ2, we're talking hours and hours of kids shows. Any ideas on how to get the content off the IQ?

I would think it is pretty difficult as it stores them in an encrypted system on the internal hard drive.   If you ring up and negotiate with them they may let you keep the existing IQ box

Download news shows off the net.. tell them the machine broke and they have gone to repeat-****ing-show-heaven
