Big Thankyou to GeoffA
« on: September 08, 2013, 12:51:40 AM »
Hey guys I know he won't like this but a big thumbs up to Geoff and his lovely wife Kay who attended a family fundraiser tonight to support relay for life that I'm involved in.

It Showed the quality of the bloke to make time, have few drinks & actively bid on some auction items for my charity. They both also spent much of the night chatting with friends & family

Geoff & Kay I sincerely Thank you.

Having shared a couple of campfires with Geoff and Kay I concur with the above statement.  Wonderful people.

Always a cold beer in my fridge with their name on it.

I have had the pleasure of camping with Geoff and Kay on a number of trips. They are fantastic people and Kay makes a great steak sandwich, especially when someone has had too many scotches.  ;D

Thanks guys, and it cuts both ways......

All we did was go along to a great evening for a top cause. Kay and I had a terrific time with very friendly people.
It's very easy to fit in, when the crowd is like the one we had the pleasure of meeting last night.

Greg, you did a great job of MC-ing and auctioneering......really kept things moving along.
The generous attitude of the crowd was very warming to witness. People dug deep to make sure the night was a success.

We'll need to let some air out of our tyres after all this...... ;D ;D
