Doesn't really matter if he gets a reps seat, he might get the balance of power in the senate.  I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds that terrifying.

Will KRudd Kry and have a blubber or will he take it like a man (doughtfull) and move on ?  >:D ;D

He didn't blubber, but true to form - he didn't shut up.  He took 23 minutes to deliver a concession speech that did not once mention the person who who was 10 times the PM that he was (Julia Gillard) which I found was disgraceful.  It also sounded like a victory speech even though the people were pretty clear his government were not wanted.  Finally it is not all about Kevin, I'm looking forward to that.

In contrast Abbott kept it short - 10 minutes - kept it humble, and did not big note himself or his party.  Very statesmanlike.

I am some what amazed even appalled at the ferocious comments some people are making about Tony Abbott, not so much about the Liberal Party.  Not that I noticed but I guess similar comments were made about Rudd and Gillard.  I can understand comments about the performance of Rudd and Gillard while they were PM.  While the Labor Party did have some brilliant ideas it has to be said the Party's execution or mismanagement of those idea, the party and Rudd/Gillard deserved some of the comments.  But Abbott and the Coalition have only just been voted, lest give them a chance before demanding their heads like some comments have made.  And as for the colourful descriptions of the people that voted the Coalition into government that made Abbott PM, have a look at yourself, cause what you are saying is just un Australia.  My only suggestion to you is if the place is going to be that bad, leave.
Cheers

Yep, IF they do something that adversely affects you, yeah sure give them a spray.

Don't get me wrong I don't mind taking the urine out of anyone, but really some of the comments being made only run on the fears  that something may happen or peoples paranoid delusional thoughts and coming out with some very threatening and disturbing comments.

That is always the way with political parties when they know they are in dire straits: threaten the public with "what ifs" of the opposition policies rather than promoting their own. Remember the ludicrous scaremongering from Labor when Hewson first touted the idea of a GST? Yet the infamous treasurer/PM of the 80's & early 90's actually proposed a GST back in the mid 80's himself.

We voted at 8am and by 9am we were making our way towards Inskip Point, or more to the point, Pelican Bay right next to Inskip.

Parked it in a 20 foot deep hole, didn't listen to any radio or TV and had a rip roaring time over the week-end, as we were the only boat in there.  ;D

Back in the marina on Sunday arvo and i'm tellin ya, its the best thing i've ever done on an election week-end.

Wait until he gets into superannuation...................................and he WILL.

And you have zero evidence to actually prove that statement apart from xenophobia.

How about we see how they go first, before sinking the boot in.

As has already been mentioned, the people have spoken, and have voted out Labor.  If that happens to make you unhappy, then venting in here isn't going to help you is it?
