A Complete Campsite soft floor, with the walkway and side fold arrangement they have ample room and the provision for a boat loader etc. the kitchen set up is the real benefit over the TS.
I had a TS and the camper was a good design for a family but the kitchen was a PITA as you have to set it up each time and carry the water jerry cans, gas bottles and your food (which is at the other end of the camper in the fridge on the tailgate). It was crap for road side stops, as you couldn't just make a coffee etc without getting the gas bottles and water, also if you wanted something from the fridge you had to dismantle the stone guard to be able to access them from the front tail gate. You can swap the fridges to the back but then you still had to dismantle the stone guard to get to the kitchen and your cups, plates etc.
I also have two kids and went to a KK which is much more versatile, easier for road side stops and overnighters, and big enough when fully set up with awnings etc. the KK has no where near the space of the TS and is crowded with the kids on the hard floor in a swag, however we only sleep on the inside and spend the rest of the time under the annex (6.7 x 2.4m) or away from the camper. If its raining and miserable we usually go for drives etc rather than hang around the camper anyway. The KK suits our need much better.
As the kids grow I will be looking for more space and I have my eye on a CC soft floor.
