We sussed out the latest "sinkhole" and yep, a fair chunk of the point has gone walkies.
However, the trip to the barge at the moment is a piece of cake. Once ya through the first 50 metres of soft sand, you swing left onto a surface better than the Bruce Highway.
Even the soft stuff, was pretty firm, except maybe a short bit of about the length of a Jeep and Camper Trailer.
We also went up to the Carlo Sandblow, bloody nice view if ya in the area and waiting for a low tide. Easy as to get to as well.
