Travel mapping

Hi all,

I am curious as to how people put maps of where they have traveled such as the highlighted marking or pins, on here or their blogs? Not so great with these sort of computer things but have been terribly curious as I would love to do this.

I did it back in 2002 2003 used a garmin 128 and data logger from gpsoz.. Then uploaded them, joined them, as i could only save a week or so of driving, together then downloaded a program to convert that format to suit google earth..


Now days u can buy a data logger off the internet and upload the data straight onto google earth etc.
