Golf Challenger?
« on: August 13, 2013, 12:41:43 AM »
Hi all Im looking at up sizing my Pioneer Prospector II(as little kids are now big kids) and was looking at a Golf Challenger by A-Van. Just wandering if anyone has or knows about them as in build quality ect as we will be taking it through some tough tracks. I looked at Jayco, Goldstream and Coromal but the G/C seems a bit cheaper and that's with independent suspension as standard. Any comments would on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Jamie...

The only constructive feedback I could give was an observation of second hand units for sale when I was looking around, I noticed there was a couple of near new ones for sale for a long time where as similar Jaycos went pretty quickly.

A Van, in the caravan circles, are not well known for quality, so check closely the fit and finish.  If these are built by A Van, then the wall construction is sandwich and the thinnest on the market.  Personally, I would have a very close look and ask the sales people to show how they are constructed, to clarify for yourself.
