Jayco corner cap
« on: August 03, 2013, 09:02:50 PM »
I have an issue with a rear driver side cap on the Ob hawk 2012 starting to crack
I spoken with dealer. And they are happy to replace,  only that the cap is a matte finish instead of the glossy finish
Does any one know where I can get on to suit or anyone have a spare?
Thanks in advance

Be aware that they may all crack. We had them replaced not long after we got our 2011 Swan and now the back 2 have cracked again.

Cheers

We went through about 4 in our first year. Jayco discovered that they were cracking due to the front bar running along the top of the camper where the cap covers the base was too long and not sitting right. It hung over the edge of the camper by about 5mm. Once they cut down, have had no problems.

Ours are the gloss ones too....have never seen the matte ones.
