Accomodation recommendations Glen Innes ... ?
« on: July 26, 2013, 08:15:21 PM »
Hey swaggers

We are travelling to Glen Innes at the end of Aug for a soccer carnival , and need accomodation overnight in Glen Innes. Does anyone have any recommendations for places in GI? As it will still be chilly around then SWMBO isnt keen to camp with the baby. So we are looking at motels/motor innes/self contained units etc.

Any suggestions are welcomed!

Cheers Chippy :D

I stayed with my MIL in Glen Innes last month. I don't recommend it.

Seriously though, nice town, but bloody cold. The New England Highway can be noisy at night as there are plenty of trucks rolling through, so stear clear of anywhere along there if you are a light sleeper.

Since we live in Warwick cold doesnt worry us ... lol
I would be looking somewhere away from the NE Hwy, as I know the number of trucks that buzz along there ...

We see what we can find ...
