Videos like that make you wonder if ownership & use of snatch straps should be subject to obtaining a license just like driving. It's the 7th wonder of the world that nobody was hurt. With all the people involved you would think at least one of them might have had some clue about vehicle recovery.
But then the vehicle WAS a jeep!!

Yeah yeah yeah, again with the Jeep comments. lol

To me it's just a d### thing.  While it's always a good option to have a bigger one, no good if you don't know how to use it:-)

Yes a passionate Jeep owner, and have had 2 cherokees since new.  Been to 4wd training, added all the right mods, been where no Jeeps (or not many) have gone before including the Vic high country, but also recovered enough Toyo's and Nissa's to state my case.

It's not how big or tough it is, more if you know how to drive it. And this guy was definitely a d###

Pretty sure I also saw them snatching off the tow ball, which for any unitiated, is the biggest no no today.  Seen people killed by flying towballs.

With some of the recovery scenarios shown in that clip its a wonder that people were not injured just not the jeep. Moral of the story, if it didn't come out first tug go and get a bigger one until it comes out, in one piece or ten.
