Police are appealing for information into a group of four people that have failed to arrive at a NSW destination after travelling from Cape York in Queensland’s far north.

The four people, a woman aged 49, a man aged 39, and two children (a boy aged 7 and a girl aged 5) left a caravan park in Cape York on July 14. They made contact with family on July 16 and were believed to be heading to the Jardine River National Park, which is approximately 900kms northwest of Cairns.

The four are travelling in a red Toyota Landcruiser (similar to the one pictured) with NSW registration number BJB45Y and were towing a trailer.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle or the four people to contact police.

Anyone with information which could assist with this matter should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously via 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au 24hrs a day.

Crime Stoppers is a registered charity and community volunteer organisation working in partnership with the Queensland Police Service.
