Very Interesting Camper
« on: July 18, 2013, 06:12:38 AM »

Would you class this as a super deluxe Camper Trailer
or a Budget Caravan?
I thought it was a very interesting concept.

Hi Muzza, yes it is fibreglass moulded. It was sent to me from a mate over the ditch

Here is the website for it

Be interesting on back of Ute, probably wouldn't want to drag that too many places, at least off road. Perhaps it'll be fine on the kiwi country lanes,no so sure on our outback tracks!
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

One of the CT's we were looking had the sides of the CT made out of composite fibre.  I was reluctant to purchase this trailer as I was thinking that steel rivets and composite fibre wouldn't work well together on heavy vibrations on coro tracks.  I think the same would apply for fibreglass although I am an expert in neither fibreglass or composite fibre.

Yes, i tend to agree with you and also fibreglass can be quite heavy.
I do like the layout though and reckon it could be great as a ute back.

Cheers

UGLY - YES, light, practical and useable - YES.

I don't reckon it would stay white too long though.
I do like the weight of it too............

The one with the dunny and shower looks odd. At least you can wash the gas bottle while showering though......... ???

I like the couch behind the motorbike, how cool is that!!   I can imagine flying along kicking back on the couch taking it easy.

I wouldnt mind that couch in my lounge room though.
