Who can help me with Snorkel choice
« on: July 16, 2013, 12:57:53 PM »
We are getting ready for a cape trip next year - need to do some mods on the car.  We have a 2011 Dual Cab Diesel Colorado - thought I would organise the snorkel first.  When I rang Holden they suggested theirs - however have read good reviews on the Safari Snorkel.

Does anyone have a preference or have some more into for me as to what to look for - look forward to your assistance.

Is there any other must do's we need to do to the car to make us cape ready??  Have the heavy duty trailer organised - is there any tips that I need to include on my camper (or what I need to pack).

Thanks
Kim

I have opted for a Safari snorkel for my Dmax, am waiting for ARB to fit it. I had looked a others but there seems to be a lot of people who like the Safari.

There are really only 2 main brands: Safari and Airtec.
The one Holden is selling you will be one of these.
Nissan has "their" snorkel which really is an Airtec with Nissan badge.
