Noosa - Teewah beach condition
« on: July 12, 2013, 02:59:04 PM »
Hi,

Has anyone been along the beach @ Noosa Northshore - Teewah lately, how is it at high tide? ???
Just thinking of doing a day trip from Brissy but don't want to go all the way there only to find it's not drivable at high tide, which is around the middle of the day at present ??? !

No driving on the beach at high tide at the moment. Was up at Rainbow last week and you couldn't drive from town to Inskip 3 hours after low.

Its pretty much 2 hours from low only.
Low tide was about 4.00pm this afternoon and it wasn't that low..........that was in the surf on the points.
Cheers Nomad.

There's also a boat stuck between DI and Rainbow and recovery operations might throw a spanner in the works for anyone wanting to drive through...
