Jayco Hawk 2nd water tank location
« on: July 05, 2013, 05:02:25 PM »
Hey, anyone know exactly where Jayco fit the second water tank on a 2012 Jayco Hawk Outback?

If anyone has a factory fitted 2nd tank on a recent model Hawk I would love to see an underbody pic to see if they still put the first tank in the same spot also?

Can anyone update this thread on any success they have had.

I measured the gap between the cross beams at 390 mm and the narrowest tank i can find online is 400mm

Hey Ripas, I can actually update this myself because I fitted mine myself.  The tanks goes just in front of the Axle, in fact Jayco actually make provision for it by setting up the cross beams to allow for the tank to slide in.

I grabbed all the genuine stuff from Brisbane Camperland, including tank, mounting straps/saddles and the stone guard.  Cost a few hundreds bucks from memory, I'm pretty sure I detailed it all in one of my earlier posts.

Cheers,
Jason.
