Greetings
I have had to repair a leak in the petrol line near the fuel tank with a brass joiner and clamps, and it looks like a bit of packing around it to prevent further damage from bouncing around against sharpish chassis and body points would be in order.
I hacked the floor under the rear seat with tin snips and worked from the top rather than drop the fuel tank, and I would like to pack under the floor for when I beat it back down and replace the carpet and seat.
Does anyone have suggestions on suitable materials?
I may be paranoid, but I was thinking material that may build up static electricity would not be ideal.
I was thinking of something that would not hold moisture, and that opens up polyester etc, but does platicky materials generate static electricity rubbing against metal and plastic/rubberised fuel lines, or is it just from rubbing against skin?
Cheers
Ian
