Good service at my local BCF
« on: June 14, 2013, 07:57:38 AM »
Hi all. I cant say I usually make these sort of posts but I thought I would let you all know about a good outcome I have had recently.
I recieved an email via Club BCF that they had 25% off store stock only , among other things, Oztents for club members that recieved the email (which may have been every member for all I know) so I thought it was the perfect oportunity to get an RV5 that I had been looking at for some time.
When I went into the shop there was only 1 Oztent in the whole place which was and RV3 on display.
Now considering every other time I had been in there, which is probably more than is good for me,  there was at least a couple of each model in stock you could forgive me for thinking that it was a bit of a set up so I sent an email off (for the first time ever!) to BCF expressing my displeasure in a nice way.
I got a call a day or two later from the store manager and I told him my thoughts and he explained thier position with the outcome being he agreed to get one in for me at the discounted price which I thought was pretty good service.
It turned up less than a week later and I picked it up last night so as I said very happy with their service and just thought I would share with Myswag.
 :cup:

Cheers,
Steve

I bought a couple of camping chairs from them.
I had them about 6 months and one of the supports had broken.

I took it back to BCF, without a receipt and asked about getting a spare part, the bloke took my chair and said no worries he'll be back in a minute. He came back out with a brand new chair. Stoked.

You gotta get a good guy every now and again.

Cheers Nomad.

Edit typo.

I fully agree about BCF.  I can only ever shop online with places like that, as the drive down the road doesn't exist for me.  The few times that the debit card has been used, they have had the purchase to me so quick, and always well wrapped to prevent damage.

What did the store say when you asked them at the time?
My alternative to cheap import trailers;

What did the store say when you asked them at the time?

Only that they didnt have any and that it was store stock only. The person I spoke to didnt really have an answer as to why their stock was so low but as I said a good outcome in the end.
