LSD on hilux

I have 09 hilux sr and just wanted to see if if comes standard with LSD or is it an open diff

Mate, jack the rear of the car up and turn the wheels if the both turn at the same  time then it's an LSD.

I think so.

Check the VIN plate, the diff number should tell you. You can google that number.

I wouldn't bother, after 5000 klms Toyota LSDs are stuffed.

Swankiest tip works with a 'tight' LSD. Some Toyota ones won't do this sadly.

Had to have a second look at the title of this thread. My first read was "Hilux on LSD" and no I am not dyslexic.
