Agnes Water/1770 in June, anyone interested?

Its been hard to pin down a time for this and yes, i did mention doing this trip a while back, but with work now slowing down for the winter months, its much easier to plan sumfin.

We were gunna do this last week, but we needed to change it, sooooooooooooooooooooo,

We're gunna go in June, either the last week or second last week.
I'm keen to try out this place, the Agnes Water Beach Caravan Park.

We cant do early June, cause we are giving the boat a run in the second week of June for a few days.

I'm thinking of a Sunday arrival and either a Friday or Saturday departure. We'll be going for sure, but if anyone wanted to tag along, they would be most welcome.

Just slap a post on here if ya keen.....

Very interested! My Bday is at the end of june, so would be a good chance for me the clan to get out!

Hey Jeepers creepers

Maybe keen for a weekend of this when you pin down the date , I always find it hard to get in there on short notice since it reopened,

Where heading to borumda deer park for the long weekend in June with some other swagers there is a thread on it, but you are more than welcome if you wont to jump on also .

So the end of June may work gives me a couple of weeks after the long weekend .

A mate was in Agnes some weeks ago and said that all the beach front sites are now cabins/tenty syle thingos. Anybody verify this is the case. It would be a shame if "us plebs" were denied a beachfront site.

Yeah, i saw the thread for the long week-end, but we have folks arriving from Brisbane on the Monday, as they are taking a house boat out the following day.
We might be forced to saddle up ours and go join them for a few days, otherwise, we would've attended your get together.

I'm going to make some calls tomorrow regarding sites etc, so we'll pin down a date etc real soon, although, i am favouring the last week in June at this stage.

Hey jeepers

looks like I spoke to soon The eldest daughter down the gold coast just had the latest grandson , So the other half tells me we have to go to goldy at end of June anyway see what happens , if I go the weekend before . Might just grab swagger rusty from around the corner and come up for a night with the swags  and a few beers after all its just over a hour away :cheers: ehsc

OK, it will be the LAST WEEK of June, however, i haven't confirmed yet, which park. ???

The ol girl and i are going to do a run up there on Sunday, suss out the best spot and go from there. We'll most likely book a site for ourselves etc while we are there.

Will let you guys know on Monday and anyone that wants to come can book their own site.

OK, we did a trip up there today to suss out the place and its gunna be the 23rd to 29th of June @ 1770.

We'll be booking our site tomorrow and i'll start a thread under Trip reports etc with the park name, times we are traveling and stuff like that.

Ok, Mrs Jeepers rang today and found out it was school holidays.......eeeeeeck....children running around...

So, we booked it for July 14th to July 20th and paid a deposit.

I've started a seperate thread under trip thingys now.  ;D
