Another Jayco Swan
« on: May 12, 2013, 06:05:06 PM »
Hello My swaggers  another family from Mackay have been on the forum for a while and watched some of the great builds and trips that people have done . We have been camping for many yrs in tents then upgraded to softfloor and now a 2013 Jayco Swan Outback
with some mod cons . We got a few options , bed end flys , twin tanks, electric water pump, hot water system, fiamma awning, 100 amp battery, a/c provision. I made up the pole holders and the rock protector and fitted l.e.d lights  . Kids think camping is great in the new camper . Cheers Mick & Vikki

Thanks for the welcome , we picked our camper up the 2nd week of febuary couldn't use it until easter weekend due to sh#*ty weather so had plenty of time to crawl around it and underneath it . We did 4 days and 3 nights on the 2 tanks with 2 adults and 2 kids 12 & 5 yrs pretty happy with it . Make sure on handover take notice of everything . The door is a complete new door setup on this model and the catch that holds the 2 piece door together failed has been replaced with last yrs style catch much stronger and we had a kinked water pipe with the twin tank setup . Really happy with the layout and the on board hot water and external shower easy set up and tows great
