The other issue is, who drives at 80 in a 100 zone, people that piss me off, that's who. They should be booked for driving open road at 80 in a 100 zone. Doesn't give a true representation of its fuel consumption. Test should be at posted speed limit......:-)

Marketing ploy at its best to sucker people's in......:-)

Gee you're a grumpy lot this afternoon  :D  Bloody amazing fuel consumption I say, regardless of what speed it was achieved at.  These things will never be "real" world so just accept it for what it was.  A competition.

Obviously no-one posting so far chose 1697.3 Kms !!!  :cup: :cup: :cup:

I have seen 5.9 L/100 Kms on my instantaneous fuel usage thingy - flat highway no wind cruising at 100 kph ...

So they are very very fuel efficient ... My average for the first 2000 Kms is 9.2 L/100 .. mainly city / suburban driving ...

I guessed it was high 1600's but haven't got an email yet, it is not a particularly "real" world figure but the Bugatti Veyron getting a 400ish km/hr top speed is not particularly real world..... But it is/was the fastest production car  :D
