Now logging in at Saigon, Vietnam.  Not showing off, but having a great 10th wedding anniversary.

Tina Casey

Nothing wrong with showing off, Tina. Sounds like a top trip.

Happy anniversary from us, and have a great holiday.

Guyra. Cold, wet miserable weather to be living in a swag.

But.... Grandpa lives here so the swag is still strapped to the cruiser and I've been stoking the fire to keep the house a balmy 24? while 2 weeks worth of washing dries on airing racks. We're off tomorrow to complete the final leg of part1 of our touring when we get sort of home to relieve at our old jobs for 2 weeks. We left the boat at a mates place 2 weeks ago in Gin Gin and traveled to Birdsville for the races staying at Emerald (family), Oma waterhole Isisford and Windorah for the yabby races. Left Birdsville last Sunday traveling via Arrabury road to the dig tree, Noccundra, Eulo, Bollon, Nindigully, Burren Junction to Guyra.

Its been a sort of pub crawl with us making a point of hitting the pub for a beer and a chat at the small outback pubs, even did a day trip from Eulo down to Hungerford to visit the Royal Mail hotel for lunch and a beer. Met some great travelers and locals that have made our trip very pleasurable.

Barn Hill station, about 120km south of Broome. Rustic, but lovely. Full moon and crashing surf. Got lots of red wine. Bride flying up from Perth next week for my 70th birthday. At $27 for a powered site, I don't think it gets much better than this!

Cheers, Tony

Sitting on the Sundeck of the RV Amalotus in the middle of the Mekong Delta near a little town called Sa Dec in Vietnam.  Heading across the border tonight into Cambodia.

Don't get me wrong, love camping but sometimes you just need a change.

How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?  (Homer J Simpson).

Sitting at my parents place in Proserpine.  Waiting for them to return from a call out and we will hook up the boat and head off to the islands for day.
Don't complain! It could be worse, you could be six foot under or a brick of ashes!!
