Hi there. Traveling family, new to the group!
« on: April 17, 2013, 02:13:20 PM »
Hi there.

I'm Bec and my hubby is James. We are a family of four traveling and working around Aus for at least 12 months or longer. Kids are 6 and 7.

We currently have a 25 year old caravan that we are hoping to "upgrade" to an offroad camper as soon as someone offers us enough cash for the van! (Know anyone who wants an old 20 foot on roader in FNQ?). Can't wait for the freedom of the trailer!

We're from the Far South Coast of NSW but currently hanging out in FNQ while I work to make us some cash for the next leg of the trip. I'll be asking all sorts of questions I'm sure as we've never had an off road camper before!

Anyway, HELLO! From us!

Recently sold my off road Jayco Dove Van and replaced with a Dingo offroad camper - already know that the camper is more our thing!!  Hope it all works out for you as well!  8)

Thanks for the replies everyone and making me feel welcome! We're here until early June at this stage. Then either heading up the cape or accross to Darwin depending on our accomodation or maybe we'll do both! :-)
