the people we meet camping
« on: April 02, 2013, 06:41:34 PM »
Having camped at Tathra over the x-mas holidays , we were beside a couple who had 2 older children
and whilst they kept to themselves mostly , they were  quiet and considerate neighbours . we were there about 2.5 weeks ....... One day the parents popped over and were saying ..geez we just put the kids on the bus back home as they were due back for uni and that they were totaly lost with out them.....missed the kids like crazy ...
anyhow they only had a few days before they were heading back home etc etc ... dad was saying there could be aparty or something ,,, he was a little prepared for some shannigans lol

so we get home after some time away at Easter , not bothering to read the paper and low and behold
... an awfull incident in melbourne.........  these two great kids ...have had their lives taken .......
in an industrial accident .... on the way to the football , as they were meeting their father on the way

this family i can tell you were FAMILY through and through ... my jaw hit the ground when i found out

and i can only say how sad it was to hear and cannot imagine the pain that this family has to endure losing there 2 and only children  RIP Alexander and Bridget Jones , My deepest sympanthy to Ian & Sue Jones  .......   thinking of you in these times

If youve got kids give em a big hug tonight !!

That's ****ed. I was listening to it on the radio as a bunch of people from work were heading in there too.

Nobody deserves to outlive and bury their children.

yup some seriously sad occurrences out there..........after almost 30 years in emergency nursing I am convinced that life is a fragile thing, to embraced, live to the max every day, tomorrows are numbered, you just don't know how many of them you have left.

A very sad and tragic accident. Me and the wife were talking about it the other day when it was reported the girl had passed away. To lose both kids in such a way is heartwrenching.

Such a tragic thing to happen to any family. My heart goes out to the family, no parent should have to deal with losing both children  :'(

Yea that just simply sucks big time. It would be a very surreal feeling you have I expect. Can't know - never been there. Life is full of curious connections or better know as - a small world.
