Used Jayco Pricing
« on: April 02, 2013, 05:54:59 PM »
Did some basic research on Jayco's available on the net at the moment. Does not include extras, does not take into account actual sale price, or location or condition etc ...just what it is available for. Might come in handy for someone looking at these and not knowing what the "market" is saying.

Cheers

Sorry guys - first time using pictures. It was an A4 page in my world. I will play around and see what I can come up with.

According to this, we have the cheapest Eagle for sale at $18900. Anyone want to buy?  Also, in excellent condition!

I've been doing a similar thing. Not in the market quite yet but in preparation for sometime in the (hopefully) not too distant future when I can get serious. Can't wait for the big sydney show when I can sus out the best new deals and be able to compare better. Something that does stick out is that some people are asking what seems like big dollars for some older campers. Either that or maybe there are just some really good bargains at the moment.

Mine is a 11/2010 hawk ob, purchased new in jan 11, $23600 incl extras.  Was not worth buying used back then, and these prices second hand still confirm that.

Dead right, we have been looking at vans for months now, we would probably pay around the 20-22k mark for a newish jayco dove outback (1-2 years old) I have been getting prices on a new van this week and we are looking around the 26-27k mark for a new dove outback fitted with a/c, independent susprnsion, waeco fridge, extra water and gas tank etc etc. comes with 12 months reg and warranty and life time warranty on the roof wind up mechanism. To us it was a simple decision to go new.

Had a bit of spare time and went through ebay, gumtree and caravan and camping sales looking at average prices for Jayco's. This is what I came up with. I grouped them into the main model changes ie 2002-2006, 2007-2010 and 2011-2012.

  • 2002-2006 Standard Dove - $14500
  • 2007-2010 Standard Dove - $16000
  • 2011-2012 Standard Dove - $20000
  • 2002-2006 Outback Dove - $16000
  • 2007-2010 Outback Dove - $17500
  • 2011-2012 Outback Dove - $21000
  • 2002-2006 Standard Hawk - $14,500
  • 2007-2010 Standard Hawk - $18,500
  • 2011-2012 Standard Hawk - $21,000
  • 2002-2006 Outback Hawk - $16,500
  • 2007-2010 Outback Hawk - $19,500
  • 2011-2012 Outback Hawk - $22,000
  • 2002-2006 Standard Eagle - $15,000
  • 2007-2010 Standard Eagle - $18,000
  • 2011-2012 Standard Eagle - $20,000
  • 2002-2006 Outback Eagle - $17,000
  • 2007-2010 Outback Eagle - $21,000
  • 2011-2012 Outback Eagle - $23,000
  • 2002-2006 Standard Swan - $16,000
  • 2007-2010 Standard Swan - $20,000
  • 2011-2012 Standard Swan - $23,000
  • 2002-2006 Outback Swan - $18,000
  • 2007-2010 Outback Swan - $22,500
  • 2011-2012 Outback Swan - $26,500

Note the average prices are not that accurate for the 2011-2012 models as there aren't alot out there. Not sure how these compare to new pricing. It depends too on the amount of options included.

Something that comes across is that the Eagle and Swan models are by far the most popular in both stock and outback versions.

Great work on the research.  Pity our tow vehicles don't hold their values as well as the campers.
