Imagine the cost ...
« on: March 05, 2013, 11:58:57 AM »
Some clever Kiwi has come up with this but ... it looks huge ... and expensive ... and you'd need a big camping space!

Hi,
It is not suited to this little black duck.

Too limited in where it could go, and there would be no $$ left over to run it.

cheers

According to the pictures on the website....... you can fit two horses in that thing....
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

I love it when people think outside of the "norm" and come up with different ideas

Having said that, one of the things I like about camper trailers is that you are not towing empty space (like in a caravan). This thing has heaps of empty space BUT would definately turn a few heads at the campsite.
Getting there if half the fun

The other half is a cold beer when you do.

I like the concept it's very clever.  But it looks like a gigantic ipod dock. You could really annoy fellow campers when you crank that bad boy up ;D

Not for me  but somebody will buy it . Would be a giggle if it deployed at the traffic lights all by its self. A new meaning to " Wide Load "

We cart horses in things that look like this...

So I'm guessing there would be little heating in this thing so to keep warm you would probably need to pull on a woolie??

yes I also love innovation so it gets a thumbs up from me!

But innovation is nothing without practicality ;)

So for Down Under it should swing the other way so it fits into a caravan park site where the annexe pad is on the left

More complicated than it needs to be

In what way? I've been admiring the simplicity of the design - I reckon there is nothing there that doesn't need to be!!

One of the mantras that got drilled into me at uni was: "A design is perfect not when nothing else can to be added, but when nothing else can be taken away."
