I made my first fridge barrier from security mesh but stuff would get caught in it. Made existing one now from marine ply with a cord mesh top.

Drained a few :cheers: & then planned to locate 8 X 20 L jerries on our Exiodus14  to cover an up coming trip  .                                  ;D                   :cheers:

Not so much the Shed or the Man cave, More like front yard / Back yard .. Finaly got around to fitting some Side steps I picked up off Market place, Mongrel brackets were for a slightly different model so the drill got a work out
+  the fact the wife has mobility problems the Left Hand  step is fitted about 40 mm lower to help her to get into the cab ..
Then it was onto fitting the Bull bar salvaged from our Old  Four Runner, its on though still got a couple of holes to drill that didnt line up  and a couple of brackets  to fab up .
As a clean skin when we got it and now with the bits ...

3RZ and Turbo MMmmm, Was thinking  maybe a little Toyota belt driven SC14 Huffer to boost it a bit  .  :D Though being a bit long on the Km, a rebuild would have to be factored in .

Yep BP .. Not a fan of Oilers and I just dont do the Km's to make owning one worthwhile, Bad enough trying to keep a petrol alive around town with all the stop start / short runs ..

Knocked up some shelves in the caravan yesterday...converted the useless clothes hanging cupboard into a large pantry that a family caravan should actually have in it. Pretty simple process, some 20x20x1.5mm ally angle, 12mm screws, silicone, 16mm whiteboard shelving and 42x19 plastic wrapped pine with a handful of screws to attach it to the shelves was all I needed.

Cleaned up the brakes on the camper. Lots of creek crossings and dusty conditions had taken their toll, and they were't pulling up as they should. Fitted new wheel bearings while I was at it....

Post trip inspection noticed a bit of grease around the front calipers,  boots had come of the UCA ball joints.

Nothing wrong with the boots, looks like they were over greased when installed. Fun afternoon pulling them apart and cleaning up.

Are they black hawk ucas? Had my blackhawk ucas/ball joints fail after one trip recently. Car is still in shop waiti g for warranty from roadsafe. Wasnt expecting a failure as my mates all have them without issue. I must have got a dud batch? Cheers

Yes,  Black hawk UCA's. The joints still appear ok,  just over greased in my case which caused the boots to pop off the upper seal.

How did they fail?

Thanks for the reply. Ball joints flogged out, bushes failed. First trip. Only did approx 2000km. Bout 100km off road beach driving. Severe knock sound etc from day 1. Hoping its all resolved this week

That's not good. Pretty sure mine was an installer issue,  otherwise been very happy with them.

Hope it all gets sorted out.

I made a start on the Austin. geez, this thing is over engineered by a fair bit.

The little elbow hoses on the clutch and brake booster were perished, so they've been replaced.
The seized slave cyl on the clutch is off and ready for a trip into town this morning. (Autopro Gatton... great guys)

The underbody is good, no rust to deal with there, just a pressure wash and fluids check.

Today will be making shelf space to store everything for it until we paint and reassemble.

Shooting to have it ready for Greazefest, the first weekend in August.

Finishing touches to the fire. Boy I missed having a real fire, cant beat it.

Very nice Glenn, natural edges work well horizontally. Love the stone work as well
