When I built my box trailer, I had the spare laid down on the draw bar. Because my spare also includes a fully set up hub, it always frilled with water when it rained. Finally got round to standing it up to solve that problem. Plus I got to play with my new welder. A bit more practice is needed I think.
Cheers, Mike.

You could pay someone else to do it for less than $600,000.00

That would buy a lot of molasses.  Although a $20 battery charger and a tub of $5 soda crystals mixed with water works better.

Hmmm,
Rearranged everything in the shed so Daughter No 1 can put her(new to her, Mazda 3) car in there, also played tetris so I can get my Carpenters trailer out, without to much trouble.
Must go through it soon again, council pickup is on soon, there is crap in there I haven't used or seen for many years  8)

I started making security bars for the windows on the shed. They were going to be external but I would've had to take the windows out to do it. They are now going to be internal. Made out of 50x50 angle and 12mm solid round. To much stuff in the shed these days and need to make it as hard as possible for would be scumbags. Might throw a pic up 2morrow.
Cheers, Mike.

I decided to build a trailer out of a few leftover bits I had from my camper upgrade and a tray from a rodeo I was wrecking.
Pretty happy with how it turned out. Its only light duty but still handy. I may even sell it as I have access to 3 or 4 box trailers already.

A while back I fitted a long range tank in the Dmax, and also have an aux battery fitted under the tray on the same side.
With a full tank, the left rear side sits about 20mm lower, so Ive taken the springs out and i'll drop them off tomorrow for resetting to level them out.
Might even get an extra leaf put in the lower pack, not sure yet.

Cheers Glen

Might not help the swelling go down though, or the flogging with a stick by the missus if I was to go down and get sick again though. ;D

Rained all day so I wired some 6 B&S from the battery to an Andersen Plug on the headboard of the Hilux. So glad I have carpet and a beer fridge in my shed
