Ya need to practice a bit more. The top is not level  >:D
Crispy

Why do you put the top on an angle back like that
From what I can see it would only serve to put more of a kink in the hand piece lead
Given that the manufacturer puts a spring on the lead to stop it kinking how can more angle be good?

New exhibition at work. Some of these are up to 90 years old & some proceeds of crime.
They all look stuffed ????????????????

Installed 3 more 12v outlets into the trailer, refitted battery, fitted load resister to stop the LED's doing the disco lights.
moved hitch receiver to underside of the draw-bar and greased the jockey wheel and suspension bushings.

That was after climbing on the roof to change the pump in the evap cooler on the house.

It is so tired old warn out blokes don't have to find a pair of glasses and squat down to read the settings and make adjustments to suit.
Also with this set up, you can reach further across a bench with it.

And all the trolleys tilt back helps the wire run smoother down hill, a lot of workshops have them on a swing arm up in the air. The wire feeder anyway.

The are nice we sell a lot of them and they are not to expensive, last year there was a special on with the 190 buy the 190 and get the 2 draw trolley for free. But that was early last year.

Keep a eye out for the AIS catalog and places like Global Welding, IWS, Aitken Welding for specials on welding equipment.

Just wire and gas for me now, oh, and waiting for my helmet.

One day, I'll get a TIG as well, but not now.

smoother down hill?
I cant see that happening
the biggest bug bear with a decent hand piece lead length is friction in the liner
this comes from dirty wire, old/worn liners,dust/wire fragments in the liner and tight bends in the lead
any of these things that can be avoided is a good thing
I just don't see the point inducing a problem for no reason

yes the swing arms are good but do have there limitations

I made the bike rack, life is so much easier now with it, such a great idea.
Not quite the nice slim pool fence, but I did make it with left over stuff I have in my way, so it cost nothing, not even fuel in the tug.

Not really in the shed.......but the tools come out of the shed
Not really a man cave......but it has seen a few beers

Also taken more than just a day.............but it was done during the day

But over the past couple of months a mate and i have knocked this up to utilise a bit of dead space on the block and to take advantage of the views

Cheers, Craig
