Not exactly man cave, but put in plenty of hours on the boat.
On-board automated fire system removed, so I can get to the hot water system, then realise, that won't come out with the floor still in and only the hatch open, bugger it.
Remove most of the rear seating area, so I can lift the main floor. Then find out, its too heavy for one to do, so grab a mate and bingo, floor out.
Undo hot water system, but stuffed if I could work out how to release, the hot and cold fitting.
A plumber at the marina sorted that bit and it was dead easy, once ya knew how.
Hot water out and start cleaning the engine room and bilge etc. Now, I might have gone a touch overboard here (marine joke) as I ended doing a spray and wipe job on everything in there, floor, walls, pipe work, you name it, I've cleaned it.
Now I just gotta wait for the new one to arrive and put it all back together next week-end. Yabba Dabba do.....
