Yep, had to pull the head off the van.

The back two water passages in the bloody thing had corroded away. Pain in the backside too, i've had to transfer all the snippers and crap to the ol girls jeep for this week.

I hope she doesn't need it.

Made a big enough hole amongst the Shit to get the ski boat into the shed for some overdue maintenance.

finally got around to bolting down the last of the shed walls today, been putting that off for ages...lol...then i grabbed some old school bag lockers i had under the house and screwed them to the inside of one of the walls for storage  8) 8) next weekend i'm going to clean out under our house and move more gear into the shed, looking at making a work bench in there and mount up the bench grinder to it etc aswell. won't be long and i'll have heaps of room back under the house....and probably none in the shed...lol

started stripping down a wooden  6x4 that i stumbled across on gumtree for free it looked crap when i towed it away but after removing all the wood the steel is in really good shape, looks like it was originally a caravan or similar, still not really all that sure what I'm going to turn it into yet.

Not much of any excitement  :-[
Took all 3 sets of blades off the rideon and sharpened them.
Repacked the front wheel bearings on the rideon.
Then I went and mowed about 3/4 of an acre, too hot to mow any more than that today, it's only a small part of the 6 or so that I do mow.
It's been about 2 months since I fired they mower up.

Still working on my 2nd trailer, A frame on, tailgate on, tie down rails done, guards on, Jockey wheel on, its looking like a trailer well and truly now, not just some steel stuck together.

Got a little more work to do then I need to flip it back upside down to finish a few more things off and start painting..

last one I didn't flip it upside down to finish and just did all the welding upside down, the welds look ok, but I got covered in weld spats..

Fixed two small annoyances in the Pajero today.

First was to remove power window relay and replace with a jumper cable so that they work without the keys.

Second was to disconnect to damn seat belt reminder chime that beeps 3 times every time you turn the ignition to on.  ;D

Next is to try and find the audio out line on the roof mount DVD player so that I can connect it to the speakers in the kid booster seats.

Its taken me  a lot longer than I thought as I have not been well, but I think I have finished my winch up under floor battery tray (minus the aluminium checker plate bash plate).

Here is a side view

Note  provision for fuse and the hinges at the back.

so it gets winched up with my You Beaut $35 eBay boat winch

and hide up in a nice safe well protected spot

I'll find out over the weekend if this is gunna work when I fit it. The idea is it will hang down almost at 90 degrees, then slot in two batteries on their side, secure with holders, winch up and bolt up in position.

Winched up my battery tray to find it fouls the crossmember holding the cable so a bit of a redesign required. Then got conned into painting a house my wife's daughter bought.

Spent the day in my mates man cave (proper workshop). Helped him finish off a few cars, then gave the Pajero a going over, including a trans service and a full fluid flush.  The old girl drives like new 8)

started the day by cleaning up under the house and taking a few trailer loads of rubbish to the tip, then ended up moving more stuff into the shed and started making a work bench in there at the end of the day. after working all day today i reckon the bench can wait till next week to be finished  ;D ;D

Took the bull bar of the troopy, gave the Alloy part at the back some black paint.
Removed the PTO Winch and sub frame, checked over the winch and just gave it some grease and oil.
Lick of paint on the sub frame, and put it all back together.
Tidied up the paint work of the CT Kitchen.
Then walked over the street and had a beer with the 2 old boys who sit out the front every weekend watching the neighborhood comings and goings.
