Nice work, what size timber did you use?

I use some 90x35 stud that the builders left behind when they built the house over the road

No really in the shed but i finally replaced the rollers on the back door

So instead of a whole house announcing bounce, bounce, bounce she is now so smooth i nearly put it through the wall when i gave it my usual heave to open

One of those fiddly jobs i have been going to do for the last 12 months ;D

This morning,
Replaced the ignition barrel & door locks of the Rodeo.
For some reason, the previous owner had two keys, one for the doors & one for ignition.
Was a PITA, but now all good and I have a spare.
And they only cost $52.50, delievered.
:)

This showed up the other day.Put it all together and mounted some of my welding gear onto it  :cup:

Great to have a place to store all of it in one place.

With our “L” shaped corner lounge placed in the middle  of our lounge room so you can walk around, we have been thinking about something to sit behind it to put the wine glass , tea cup etc when sitting down.

Off to the shed and a day later , problem solved.

Gave this old saw a service. Picked it up of Keith a while ago and it never ran well. Even sent it off for a service and still the same.

Found the spark arrestor to be completely blocked, a long soak and a clean and it goes like it would of when Ex purchased in the 50's

The Still 009 is a great little chainsaw. We had a few of them years ago when i was full time tree lopping. Was good for working out of a cherry picker bucket over the top of power lines. It was a one handed operation with the other hand free to manage the branches which were cut and thrown away from the live power lines.
HINT: When storing a chainsaw away for the summer months, add extra oil into your mix.Run the saw for a few minutes ( yes, it will smoke cause of the extra oil in the fuel) and then drain the fuel tank. The extra oil with stay on the compression seals inside the engine so the seals wont dry out.Old tree loppers trick.

They should have. Not happy with the store and none of my saws go there anymore. All clean now, blows a bit of smoke at start but is happy to rev away now

Out with the old jockey wheel, on with a new one. No special tricks needed to get the trailer off now. The old one didn't have enough stroke to fully unhitch. Was short by 50mm
