Hi,
   Ahh, cars with fins.
Well I remember them.
Catch one at the lights at the bottom of the hill, hang on tight, listen to the engine note, watch the steering wheel, ignore other cars blowing horns and arrive at the top of the rise without a single pedal crank on the old Malvern Star.
No helmets then either!
Cheers

Wife wants the walk-in pantry 'updated'. Looking at replacing the fixed shelves in one corner with pull out shelves. Theory is you can fit more shelves in and get to the back of the shelves easier. Bought some soft close slides and timber from Bunnings and replaced one of the shelves today as a trial. Cavity wasn't square, 1cm larger at the back than front, so I had to space the rear in. Still have to put a front on it to tidy it up, and maybe a handle.

I owe, I owe, it’s off to work I go…

I did similar to our pantry. Bought a carcass from Ikea and assembled it inside the pantry, It was 10mm too wide to slide in. Then bought the wire slideout shelves. For the bottom one fitted a solid base in it so bottles wouldnt fall over.

Nice work Jamie... :cup: :cup:

Our kitchen originally had a pantry that I could stand inside (but not walk-in).....what a waste of space.... ::) ::)

Looked into why the mate's big Ford would spike in temp in traffic.
Near new radiator.
Big thermo  fans.
Timing is good.
Coolant is good.

The only problem is, the design of the radiator doesn't allow you to see inside it.... at all.
So, the radiator came out today to have the tanks knocked off and checked/cleaned.

I warned Doug, next item would be the water pump.

When I spun the pump by hand, it had a bit of bearing rumble, so off she came.
Now, as I was watching Doug lift it up and out..... I said, the friggin impeller is miles from the body.

Got it on the bench, checking it out, and the clearance was fine. ???

Turned the impeller, and the bastard was all over the shop like a mad woman's breakfast.
The impeller has a very healthy crack in it and would turn like a very buckled wheel.

OK, order a new pump, dropped the radiator to be opened and cleaned to be sure...... she's gunna run cool soon.

I DON'T CARE HOW NICE THE HAND SOAP SMELLS.....

You should never walk out of the public toilets sniffing your fingers.

Nice work. But I'd have to build a 3 bowl version for my OCD dog. He doesn't like his wet food in the same bowl as his biscuits...  >:(

Our dog was hilarious the first time we took him camping when he was a pup.

He has had elevated bowls at home from day one. As a large breed dog he grew these massive long Great Dane legs before the rest of his body had caught up. He must have just got used to drinking and eating from that one position.

We took him camping and filled a bowl with water a put it on the ground for him.
It was the funniest thing watching him trying to figure out how to drink water that was 6 inches too close to the ground. ;D
The tongue wasn’t quite long enough. Spreading out the front legs didn’t work. Sitting and leaning in wasn’t happening.
In the end he just laid down, dropped his whole face in the bowl and sloped away.... :)

It took a little while, but he’s since figured out how to drink at ground level and from the raised bowls. ;)
