Ultra Ever Dry on camper?
« on: March 01, 2013, 09:01:05 PM »
I wonder how this stuff would go on a camper or tent?
http://www.ultraeverdrystore.com/

I guess it isn't going to stop pooling but it might help with drying your canvas after rain or dew.
Probably a bit expensive but it looks like awesome stuff.

I saw this the other week and was thinking the same thing.
Has anyone used it yet or know of a place in aus that stocks it?

Cheers

I've got a mate who's been trying to contact them with no luck so far. It's not cheap, but how much better would it be packing up if it's been raining?

No not stocked in Australia. They are just about to start international shipping which will begin march sometime.

Yes I have been in contact with them.

The one problem at the moment is that it is not a transparent product, (working on it) so everything you use it on will go a whitish  haze

Amazing.  Loved the glass demonstration.  I guess the cost and quantity to treat a CT tent will determine if it is practical to use on a CT tent.  Will watch with interest.

Not sure I'd want those chemicals on my ausie waxconverters canvas.  Even if they didn't damage the tent they could severely reduce the breathability of the fabric.

I note that it leaves a horrid look on things eg: the glass.  Really want that look on your canvas?   ???
