Waeco CA35 3 way fridge - Anyone got one?
« on: February 28, 2013, 11:45:18 AM »
Just got an email from Rays Outdoors. Sale now on till March 3rd.  25% off Store Wide.  Unfortunately the sale "excludes" Engel and Weber.

Wondering about the Waeco CA35 3 way fridge tho, does anyone have one of these and would you recommend it?  Want to run it on gas when free camping.

Cheers, Bern.

Cant help with the 35 but we do have the 19 I think that works on the same process (non compressor).  It works okay.  If you throw a freezer brick in it helps.

I did notice they have the waeco raps 36 power pack for $250 which is a super dooper barry bargain!

My alternative to cheap import trailers;

The waeco factory is selling these for $150 delivered. However, no gas hose regulator. I was wondering if they could be connected to the low pressure bayonet outlet on the drawbar of my 2013 jayco.

The 3 way waeco can only use approved hose lines (regulated to 2.75kPa) with a maximum length of 1.5m.

Does anyone know the pressure of a bayonet gas line?

Or have any more feedback on the waeco CA-35? I know it will run crap on 12v and only cool to 25degree below ambient.
