Puma Fuels Acquires Neumann Fuel
« on: February 11, 2013, 08:44:29 PM »
Puma is a Global player and has decided that it would rather enter the aussie fuel market by buying in rather than start afresh.
Not a bad idea really.
While I'm more or less happy about it I wonder if they will have the same problem as other fuel suppliers with the price of oil suddenly becoming really expensive the day before Easter?
Or any other AUSTRALIAN public holiday or school holiday weekend for that matter.
What a Crock that is.

At least with diesel it's damn expensive all the time. Petrol on the other hand goes from expensive to damn expensive.

We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.

Where I live, the price of ULP doesn't cycle like it does in Brisbane and most other places.  Just the same price, week in, week out.  And we have had the cheapest ULP (average price) in the state for the past two years.  So the big companies, Woolies, Coles/Shell and BP, can do it if they want.  But I think the two United servos on the two approaches to town keep them honest.
