How do you carry your 2stroke when travelling?

I am about to go travelling and would like to keep 2 stroke on roof rack. So looking for 5Ltr metal Jerry can. But cant find any here in Launceston... In 1 litre fuel bottle designed for hiking camp stove. They are sealed and designed for fuel so can be carried in the car. It's about 2 tanks on my smaller saw but I have never used it all just camping. They used to made by sigg but are now available through MSR, search MSR fuel bottle.

X 2 for the MSR canister.  I only need it for a little extra chainsaw fuel so definitely works for me.  I also find the small volume is great as its a fresh mix.

I think I got mine from Rays Outdoors, have seen them at other large camping outlets, normally on a bottom shelf.

I have one of these Infront Camping chainsaw bags. It has a divided section for a 5lt fuel can. It all zips up, chainsaw spares, fuel, all self contained.

I use after much searching found the discontinued Shindaiwa Chainsaw Case,very sturdy strong plastic with drop down sides that holds enough 2 stroke ,oil and other items with the chainsaw.When i purchased he told me that the style in the previous post is how manufacturers are going i asked why and he said that they are cheaper to make.The picture is branded Husqvarna but mine is identical and says Shindaiwa engraved into the plastic.

I too have the same bag as Jeeps. Great canvas bag. Separate section serves for fuel can and tools and oil and main section for saw. And they are really well priced( well that's my opinion anyway ????)

I'm yet to take my chainsaw with me camping, although I plan on it soon.  I plan on using a MSR bottle, and to fill the chainsaw with fuel before leaving.  I think that'll likely be more than enough.

I store mine in a 1L trangia bottle, pours out easy and has never leaked. Is stored on the rack in a short plumbers tube with cap
