Mate I wish I had my car with the lights but I'm grounded until further notice(back problems).  However it's a nice looking CT albeit new in the photo. I'm sure you'll make it look like new again. P.S. probably coming up to Wodonga in two weeks so hopefully we will catch up.

We've just sold the wife's Harley trike over the internet (photos of course), but sight unseen for $31,500.

I couldn't do it myself, but the bloke seems fine to trust us and we have all the money in our account already.
He'll get it this Thursday.

I had to stick a new $204.00 battery in it yesterday too.... geez.

Yep I did, sorry about the delay guys and gals. I'm heading up to Sydney on Friday then through to Brisbane on Saturday. So hopefully I can catch up with some swaggered whilst I'm there.

Only problem is your budget is only $1-1.5k and without the pretty blue & red flashing light I dare say it may cost you a bit more....not including my hire fee.
but on a good note my car will do Sydney to Brissy for around $120 in fuel.

Wish I could help out, but I'll be working and then camping.  Banyo is indeed on the "other" side of the river.   ;D  I could help out with a camping destination for your first night though ... I know a few ripper spots.

I'm 5 minutes from where it is located, but we're heading off later this week for a trip. Sorry I can't help, or offer a place to stop nearby for a coffee when you're here inspecting..

Have you checked for Swag accommodation along the way? Spare beds or somewhere to sleep along the way? Theres a few of us in Sydney that may be able to help if thats your first sleep. That way if your driving straight up from Sydney your trip will be a little cheeper.

Good question.
And yep I'm back.  ;D was a bloody long drive though. I set the camper up this morning to get the water out and air it out.
I can tell you guys I have a lot of work ahead of me with this thing. The plan is as follows.
Once the canvas is dry, clean all the mould and spots off it.
Completely remove the tent which will be interesting.
Strip the trailer bare
Strip all the powder coat off the trailer by blasting.
Cut out and repair a couple of badly rusted places.
Prime and paint.
Lots of shiny new bolts
Sand and refinish the drifta kitchen. ( I was going to replace it but it is actually in pretty good condition)
New hubs and master cylinder for the brakes.
New seals on all the doors
Then I will be adding a twelve volt system.

Apparently I have to have it use able for our wa trip in may. So could be interesting.
I'll get some photos up asap.

Cheers

I bought this product and sprayed it on my sandstone and two weeks later the sandstone was clean. Also recommended for canvas.

Thanks mate, I never even put two and two together with that. In wonder if I will need to re waterproof it after.
I'm pretty impressed with the canvas though. Its definitely aussie canvas, quite heavy too.
So hopefully I'll be able to salvage it.

See my new build thread guys. In put a couple of photos up there.
In found out the canvas was made by open road canvas in wa. In just got off the phone to them
Not long ago. Great bunch of people and are going to help me out as much as possible with the tent.
They are also putting me in touch with the guy who made it.
Wayne is his name. He owns a steel fabrication business and only made a few of these campers.
The lady at open road that I spoke to was lovely, she was genuinely surprised where her tent has ended up and remembered  exactly which tent I have.
So things are looking up and its only day one lol
