Great idea. If they actually get to the people who need and want them, I'd gladly buy and donate a few.

I've been to the soup kitchen behind the Domain in Sydney and spoken to some of the homeless there and it was a very upsetting experience.

Fantastic to see this mob getting publicity on such a high viewing program.
I heard an interview with the inventor on ABC radio about 12 months ago. An absolutely brilliant concept.

Or if you are looking to buy yourself a great swag, you could get one of theirs and all profits go towards helping the homeless

So much better than the profits going to a multi-national camping chain.

Great idea. If they actually get to the people who need and want them, I'd gladly buy and donate a few.

From their website:
3000+ Backpack Bed's™ (swags) distributed in last 12 months
Funded 100% by public donors
Only 1.89% of funds went to overheads (ASIC Audit March 2009)
Let's see any charity do that! Your money actually helps people.

Kingbilly,

I'll be donating for sure, but I also know of another charity where 100% goes to the cause.

Google "drive for life" then after seeing that its 100% direct to the cause, please help by spreading the word and or donating.
Perhaps book in for this year. Great High country trip coming up...........

Cheers
Brian
