Ultimate xtrk
« on: January 20, 2013, 07:22:05 PM »
Hi everyone
almost to the point of ordering xtrk family pack and have read some good comments on what to get or do without. The Tug is a LC200 2010 17in rims so wondering the cost to match these up. Had a new UEV490 Conqueror but thats another story. Im thinking 240v kit, 28deep cycle batts, larger Ctek 25ah maybe. Have a solar blanket i might be able to incorporate on the canvas ,light weight and efficient by powerfilm USA. Any comments good or bad would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Steve Lavell Newcastle.

what happened to the conqueror, I was thinking about getting a commander.

Be careful with towing it with a 200series! The ulti may take flight!

G'day Steve

Comments I would have is that the Ultimate guys are great to deal with. Very professional. Their campers are fantastic to tow and the quality is unreal. Getting just under 10l per 100kms. Been around for over 15 years.
Lots of space and big bed. Lot's of shade without putting up the awning. 60kgs hitch weight.

Downside would be the stairs, but associated upside is that the flow through ventilation is superb through all that flyscreen area. I think being up a bit makes it a little cooler somehow.
Put up time is 10 mins max. If you're getting one, make sure you get the fitted sheets/protectors for the 3 mattresses.

They matched my stubs and I supplied the wheels. I ended up getting a credit from them which more than paid for my eBay wheels.
Good luck.

Just get the OEM Toyota 17" steel rims from your friendly Toyota dealer.  I paid around $112 each.

Same as those on LC 200 GX.

Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

Was wondering what made you choose Ulti over Conqueror as well. We've only just started looking.
