Hell's teeth, these Jayco's are excellent buying, well done! As a comparison, in June 2010 I ordered our GS (picked up Feb 2011) which is equivalent layout to an eagle (ie same as swan but ~ 300mm shorter) with following options: offroad pack, HWS, extra 65l water tank, external shower, extra gas bottle & change over regulator, Kakadu bagged awning with walls, innerspring mattress to queen bed, cruisemaster coil suspension, jerry can holders to rear bumper bar, DO35 tow hitch, extra 105ah battery & uprated 240v charger and it came to just under $45000!!! So in comparison you got plenty for your $: outstanding value for money. Good work

Does anyone know which tyre sizes can come with the 2013 outback swan? I recall reading somewhere that there have been two sizes available in the past. If possible, I wanted to choose something that could be used as an emergency option with my 2010 Kia sorento. It currently has 265/60R18. I figure there ain't going to be 18in wheels available, but something that is close to the diameteter would be good. (However, I freely admit that tyres and wheels sizes baffle me, so maybe I am dreaming).

Also my dealer that the battery can be charged via AC, 12v from the car, and by solar with the existing charging unit. I can't find any info on the charger that is in the 2013 Outback Swan. Maybe it is the standard SETEC unit. I just don't know. Does anyone else know what the stock charger is?

I am pretty sure that I will add the drawbar tap to my list of options . I just had a few questions:
Does it connect to tanks via the 12v pump?

From other pictures on recent year  Jaycos, I think it is a normal garden tap.  I wanted to attach a short garden hose with a trigger to wash down people at the end of the day or coming back from the beach.

Have you asked Jayco or the supplier any of these questions?
for the best part of $30g's I'd be asking everything and expecting a free dinner

Yep - I have asked the dealer. Just no answer yet.

Also sometimes different dealers give different answers, so it is helpful to be prepared for the discussion.

The charger is the setec.the tap is mains only but shouldnt be to hard to connect to tanks, the wheel options are 15in or 16 in, both are a 245 so same rolling diameter and are a 6 stud

            Hope that helps, Dice

we went with the ext shower but only cold water as it comes with the 12v water pump , been informed that this will connect to the internal tap and draw bar tap. not sure about the solar..

The flooring is the bamboo and a couple of new colours for the fabric is the only interior difference

Had a gander at the local camper show in Adelaide and saw this little camper from Jayco.....

I was not sure whether it was an English one, an Aussie one or hybrid of both....

Inside the cushions are the same colour scheme with the place names of Australian towns, cities written all over them (think "I've been everywhere song" and you get the idea).

Still not sure about the standard 2013 scheme - the black is a worry.....
