I have been looking at these shade structures for a while.
Who has one?
How long is the set up time?

Any feedback would be great.

Had one.

Quite heavy. Took about 20 minutes to set up, all the legs come apart and need re-assembling every time. I wouldn't buy another, I think the more upright walled ones are an easier set up and provide more head room and useful space.

Don't get me wrong, was OK, just not for us.

yep have one as well, i agree they are quite heavy and a bit cumbersome to set up.......

raggedy ann thinks its a great piece of kit........i was in so much trouble for accidentally forgetting it for a teewah beach camping trip over XMAS

i will be keeping mine as not much point buying something else........

although if i had my time over i would also look at the square marquees , i purchased a heavy duty one for work from extreme marquees which i am really impressed with, once again heavy so so are the components and simpler/quicker to set up

on sale they are good value for money

but it was 10/10 the afternoon before the storm

We've got 1 & we love it. Yes they are heavy. Ours takes about 20 min to set up. For the purpose, they are great.

We have one and they are great, my wife and I can set it up in about 15 minutes, it provides a good shaded area which everyone can sit under (rather than lots of other gazebos I've seen which only provide shade for a few minutes at midday, and it can withstand strong wind.

It does weigh allot, but we just stick it in the trailer, makes a great communal spot for everyone to sit under.

No but it looks like it would suffer from the same problems as many other gazebos, in that it wouldn't actually provide much shade. The good thing with the Coleman is that it provides allot of shade no matter where the sun is in the sky, and there are also side panels which can be attached which are useful too.

I am slightly sceptical about the 'instant setup' claim, can't see how that would work with such a large structure.

I tried that too 

We have a screen house if we are going to be camping for a long period of time but another thing we have is 2 different size coolaroo shade cloth type squares, yes if we want them we have to take 4 poles and can be better with side spreaders and ropes however does not take long to set up and being a shade cloth type the wind goes through so it usually stays up.  They are pretty thick so good shade I dont know if coolaroo still do them we got ours years ago on sale at a store closure.  They are sort of similar to the oztrail mats/shade.

seems they are direct import from the USA,  not been able to find the walls here in AUS,  but will keep looking as a couple of side walls could be handy sometimes.

It was shown on escape with ET last week.  Looked ok.  Not instant but not bad.  But looked flimsy compared to the Oztrail gazebo that we have (the common one).

I have one and its great as a common area.  I would recommend buying extra walls if you want to keep the wind and rain out.
One recomendation is that you also peg down the fly/cover not only peg down the corners at the base as we didn't and one windy night the wind took it for a ride and bent one of the poles even though they are strong and heavy. 
You also can't get replacment poles from coleman.  Had to manufacture something up at home (additonal sleeve to fit inside the two tubes.  Regards Daryl.

Mum & Dad have one great in the winter
we just went camping to the beach
my sister had a silver tarp it would have been at least 10 degrees cooler under the tarp
they are ok but would rather the tarp

I got the extra walls for it to be able to fully enclose it.

I've used now for 4 weeks total.  It's going strong and is great.

I chose it, instead of going for a OZtrail Deluxe Gazebo.  These things are just so much bigger, and dont give as much shade area.

I can get it set up on my own in 18 mins.  Half that with help.

Go to your local markets and see what everyone uses

Oztrail delexe gazebos

Why? Suoer  quick setup , rugged, reliable

I use a 6m x 3m version, takes me and my wife 1min ( yes 1min) to setup

They are excellent for sure.  I have one for home around the pool, thought the Event 14 packs down to half the size of one of those which is why I use it camping.

I have or should I say had one of these that we bought specifically for beach use.....on our holiday in Eden a couple weeks back it folded like a desk of card when a roge wind gust came through.  It snapped a couple poles and rounded out the recess in the several other pole.  It is a write-off.  Everywhere else it was great but for beach work where there is always going to be some wind look elsewhere or perhaps buy the smalled version.  I won't be replacing mine.
