Great spot, we stay at the sandbar part of it . Have lake one side and the other side is the beach . The girls that work at the little shop are nice . I'm not sure on the fires bit . Our kids love it ( miss 6 mr3) they get free range on there bikes

we've only stayed at Bushland ( 3 times over the yrs ) and it's great....a bit like a van park that time forgot.....and you can have fires there ( but not at Sandbar )
