Xmas holiday period
« on: December 06, 2012, 03:49:20 PM »
Hey all,
Currently I'm sitting at home with a torn muscle down the inside of my thigh going insane.

Lesson to all :  Even if you are extremely confident on a ladder, use one every other day at work, don't become too cocky installing Xmas lights on the house whilst enjoying delicious bevvys.

Thank heavens for Myswag. Gets kinda boring when ya confined to the lounge.

Anyhow, just wondering if anyone is interested on posting what their up to over the Xmas holiday break.
We're towing the camper up to Sandbar / Bushlands park on the Lakes Way just South of Forster. Some 4x4 sand driving on Cellito's beach, heaps of fishing, good food ( taking away my little spit I bought at Bunnings it's a ripper) . Heading off early boxing day for 10 days can't wait to get the kids away from home, they absolutely love it every time we go..........

Sounds like a great plan.

We are going to Wollondilly Station between the 26th and 30th, then the daughter is off to the Jamboree from the 31st to the 15th Jan. We will also take another long weekend early Jan to celebrate LB's birthday.

Cannot wait.

My Christmas break starts in 13 days.  I'll be heading off for a 4 nighter - not sure where yet - but somewhere that isn't too popular I hope.  Then it'll be Christmas ... so I'll have to participate in that, but I will probably spend the night alone ... then I'm off to my parents place for a few days.

Washing, chores and then back to that  >:D place where I get money to fund such fun.

well, we're hitting Fraser for a week starting tomorrow, but as for the Xmas break itself, we're taking the boat out and spending Xmas on the water for a few days.

Heading to Cobar to mums for a couple days over Chrissy, boxing day head to Moree to see dad for a couple days, then Hervey Bay for a couple days, Fraser from 30/12- 3/1, then another couple of weeks just going wherever.  Only thing after Fraser is taking the kids on Lady Musgrave Island cruise, then play by ear.  Depending on how wet the wet season is, we'd like to go up to Mackay, but otherwise Rocky will do, and we'll head back down the coast until we get to mother in law's at Nelson Bay, and depending on money and time, might go as far down as the Vic border to Eden where a mate lives.
All this depends on if I get a job a job with the council I applied for, if I get that, well it all goes down the sh!t chute and we'll get Hervey Bay and Fraser in before trying to move 900k's away, BUT we'll be finally moving to our farm in sunny QLD so all good :D
Cheers
Vanessa

Why plan for Christmas?  Doesn't the world end on the 21st?  Julia said so.  It must be true.  She doesn't tell porkies.

Way too many scrotes go away this time of year, hardly worth going away to end up arguing with a pack of arseholes.
