Great video, those were the days .

Landrovers and Nissan/Datsun G60 patrols not a Toyota in sight.

Chains for recovery - I often wonder if the snatch strap style of recovery was/is only a sales gimmick. I never had a chain fail .

Sitting/standing on bullbar for added weight/traction.

And here I was thinking D.I , Inskip Point and Fraser  was bad at Holiday time ... These Yanks take the cake for excess $200 for three nights at a Sandy Freeway  ;D ;D

A yank I worked with showed his video of a family trip to that circus, they were packed in so tight he couldn't fold out the awning for the next van. Naturally I rubbished him for it and showed our trip to flinders beach on straddie, and the pics of my kids watching the whales swimming past.
