Fraser Island Feedback?

Hi all,
If this is an exhausted topic my apologies in advance. However, we're planning a trip to Fraser Island some time in the new year and would love to hear any feedback that those with previous experience might have. At this stage we are thinking Dilli Village probably after Easter with a mixture of campers and tents and 5 or 6 Nissans. Looks like we might even take the wives and kids. Would love to hear anything you guys have to say.

Hey Kydar,

It's a really big island made of sand where adventure abounds.  There are things in the water that'll eat you and things on the land that'll eat you ...   

Other than that, try to avoid school holidays if you want some beach to yourself.  It's been many years since I graced the island with my presence for this very reason ... over population.  Be careful of the back packers as they know not how to drive.

I say Go For It.  Gotta do it at least once in a lifetime.
