Thanks for all the info folks. Exactly what I was looking for.
Honestly they are light as and fit in the front boot on my jayco swan beside the gas bottle so not a hassle to carry both...
Agree they are light but they do take up a lot of room if you don't have much room to start with. I only have a little soft floor CT not a huge jayco starcruiser
x2 I wonder why you'd carry 2 of the rampy things, when you could carry a couple of the Max-Trax type things that could do 2 jobs....
Heck, now we're talking even bigger things to carry. I can see the sense though if I was tackling some serious offroad stuff and had somewhere to carry the max-trax thingies.
These "caravan levellers" are sold in pairs because there are times when you need to raise the van a little even though the site is level. At some van parks the annex slab is raised above the surrounding ground which alters the fit of annex walls, etc. For simply "levelling" a second ramp is probably not needed but if you visit caravan parks that second one could be handy.
Never thought of that. Makes sense. I have a soft floor CT so probably won't use a site with a slab too often. I prefer the all grass camping sites.
I saw this some time ago on another sight, never tried it but it might work.

Thanks but I already have the ramps, not looking for alternatives, just whether or not I need to carry one or two.
Thanks again for all the suggestions.
