CT transport from Gosford to Adelaide (all sorted now)
« on: September 26, 2012, 04:52:12 PM »
Hi all,

I just put a deposit down for a Trackabout CT (to replace our recently stolen CT) which is currently in Gosford West NSW. We are looking to either drive from Adelaide to get it or have it transported.

Whilst we'd prefer the trip to get it, being realistic it is quite an effort to do so with two kids (1.5yrs and 5) not to mention a long trip as we'd have to do a direct trip there and back with no sightseeing as our holidays are limited.

With this in mind, has anyone a suggestion of transporting options that we could consider?

Thanks in advance!

Getting it trucked over would be good option i think.

By the time you factor in fuel, time, etc, i would think a transport company might be your best friend.

If you go down this path, make sure it's well insured, and covered for this sort of thing.

Remember, it'll be in the "care" of people that don't own it.......

It might be better to find a specialist caraven/trailer delivery dude as normal freight mobs don't like vehicles without engines

If you wish, I have mate of a mate who does this, PM and I wil provide details. HTH

Toll and NQX (same company) has a depot in west gosford.
Its in the main industrial area.
I had to pick my camper tent up from there.
I assume you might have to put it on a pallet, so they can forklift it on and off the transport trucks.
I guess the only other option would be a 20 foot container, Royal wolf is in west gosford as well.
