tent pole fitting
« on: September 13, 2012, 11:04:03 PM »
Hey Guys,

I have seen these before but i am now unable to find them.

I am looking for tent pole "c-clips" but want them to have a pin or spigot sticking out in the "c" part of the clip.

I hope that makes sense and someone can help.

Cheers,

Welchy

maybe i havent explained myself properly.

Both of those links do not have the pin protruding from the inside of the c clip.  the pin goes into the pole that the c part of the clip clips to.

Does that make more sense?

Buy one of the ones shown above, then drill it out and stick your own pin in!
Camping is great as long as the mattress is inner spring!

Do you mean like this idea, without such a big lug in the middle?

That is like the C clips they use on the folding Oztent ally tables.. somewhere to start..

This is exactly what i am looking for - anyone know where i can get these? preferably with the insert part for the tent pole, i have seen them but typically when i actually want them they evaporate!
