I was visiting a mate the other night when his  24 year old son walked in.

After saying g'day etc, I asked him if I could borrow a newspaper.

 'This is the 21st century, ya old fart,' my mate's son said smiling.
 
 'We don't waste money on newspapers. Here, you can borrow my iPad.'
 
 I can tell you, those iPads are pretty good, that bloody fly never knew what hit it.

How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?  (Homer J Simpson).

Dude I love your jokes, they always bring a smile to my face or I will chuckle out loud but you do know that we have a joke thread don't you. I was just thinking out loud, as we will have all these minor threads choking up the place especially when we have issues at the moment.

Yes, but I don't usually look in the joke section so the sneaky jokes like this one con me in to reading them so I get a good laugh!
